Geeks of the west coast
What better way to spend your Wednesday night than the Air-Conditioned Supper Club in Venice Beach California with some of the biggest startups in the West Coast. Twiistup has become a growing sensation with every event put together. This year at Twiistup 3 not only attracted bloggers but networks as well. CBS and KCAL had to get in line and wait their turn for interviews with all the showoffs at the event. About two years ago Brian Deagan commented for Investor Business Daily, that West L.A. will become a digital hub for web 2.0 media and judging from what i saw last night at the sold out event he might be right on the money with his predictions.
Showoffs this year included:
Askmenow – askmenow
Docstoc – docstoc
Magento – magentocommerce
OfficeZilla – officezilla
PeopleJam – peoplejam
Rubicon – rubiconproject
Speeddate – speeddate
ThemBid – thembid
Yellowbot – yellowbot
